Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Today's Brief account and account-linked data. Support contact: ppltech26@gmail.com.

How To Request Deletion

You can request account deletion inside the app:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

You can also request deletion by emailing ppltech26@gmail.com. Include the email or phone number used for sign-in and any Support ID shown in Settings so we can verify ownership.

What Will Be Deleted

When applicable, deletion covers your Today's Brief account profile, synced saved items, preferences, watchlist, account-associated reading or listening history, push token, and account-linked first-party analytics delivery records.

What May Be Retained

Google Play billing records are handled by Google Play. We may retain fraud or security logs, legal compliance records, and support records when required or permitted. Account-linked first-party analytics delivery records are deleted with the account. Pseudonymous events already processed by Google Analytics remain subject to the analytics property retention settings and Google's applicable terms.

Verification

We may verify account ownership before deletion. Requests that cannot be matched to an account or verified may require additional information.
